Transitioning

Those Passages,

when we change planes

or trains, are Redirected

onto other quays, gates

a New Direction

****

This line will take you

only so far,

another will bring

you further

****

Then it is back around again,

back to where you started

this time with new Eyes

a different shading to those lenses

more or less Resolution

A Heart that Leads

****

Unless of course, the Journey

was so distressing

the eyes Shut

the heart hides Deep in the Chest

and only Fear can be gleaned.

  1. Kiki – I am relatively new to your blog and your poetry. But I am loving what I have read so far. Simple, clear, shaped, so the message slips through the mind and into the heart unimpeded. With this one, it also struck me that both sides of the coin could be true. Thank you for the gifts. Lou

    • Dear Lou, it is -15 outside where I find myself, and you have just blown the ice off with your words, thank you!

  2. I love it Keren! And you know no matter how distressing it is we always learn something to help us on future journeys x

  3. Good, tight, meaningful poem—with the perfect photo to further illuminate the evocative words.

  4. Yes, I love the coming full circle with new eyes…. and a heart that leads. So beautiful, dearest one. xoxo

  5. to complete the circle with heightened sense …is the gift – the blessing..& so it goes…⭕️

  6. Fabulous Kiki!! It reminds me of how we must be willing to die in every moment, so that the heart can lead. I am grateful for your presence on this planet. Thank You!!
